Due to the limited quantity, cancellations for monthly plans will only be accepted before the 15th of each month. Otherwise, no refunds will be granted. Kindly note that pre-paid plans are charged and counted in advance, and may not be refunded (in partial or in full) due to discounts given.
Depending on renewal of subscriptions, each month will have a total of open slots. The slots will be opened on Cratejoy and another site. Once those are taken, we're sold out and will renew the next month!

Q. What is The Monthly Prophet box?
A. This is a monthly subscription service that delivers fiction and fantasy bookish toys and/or shirts, PLUS other bookish treats to your doorstep.
Q. What do the boxes contain?
A. Every month, we have the enviable task of choosing a toy or shirt as the main item of each box. We plan in advance and research upcoming books and movies, toys, and only choose the best one to match our chosen theme. PLUS, we fill up the box with bookish goodies such as jewelry, bookmarks, stickers, prints, toys, and other accessories!
Q. What types of books can I expect?
A. This subscription focuses on the fiction and fantasy genres.
Q. How much is a box?
A. Each monthly box is USD 26. You can choose to get a Monthly Plan or a discounted 3- or 6-month plan. Regardless of your plan, be assured that the total worth of the items inside the boxes would be worth about 40-60 USD in retail cost.
Q. Do you ship worldwide, and how much?
A. Yes, we ship worldwide for an average of USD 9.99. We intend to standardize shipping costs, but this depends on weight and may vary month to month. At most, for a really heavy box, shipping is expected to reach USD 15.
Q. How long is SHIPPING to my country?
A. We begin shipping out on the 20th of each month, or earlier if the boxes sell out sooner! Transit time takes 7-15 days depending on location. Please note that customs or sorting delays in the destination countries may lengthen transit time. In such cases, we will assist in following up with the couriers.
Q. Which payment options do you accept?
A. Subscriptions require credit cards through Stripe. For other payment options, kindly send us an email.
Q. How does re-billing work?
A. When you sign up, you will be charged immediately for the subscription plan that you have chosen (1, 3, or 6 months). If using a card, pay upfront for 3 or 6 months with discounts applied. Contact your credit card provider directly if they would agree to charge each month on installment. NOTE: Renewal is automatic until you cancel your subscription. Once your subscription cycle is over, you will be re-billed for the same plan until you decide to cancel your subscription. Re-billing takes place depending on your card's billing cycle.
Q. How do I know I don't already have the items you're sending to me?
A. We cannot guarantee this as we people also collect. However, to avoid duplication of at least the MAIN ITEMS, we make sure to leave hints through our social media. Kindly follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to see these hints. The smaller pieces would be coming from selected sellers and partners, and as such, it would be difficult to guarantee exclusivity. Be assured though that we will choose pieces that you may wish to keep, sell, or give as gifts.
Q. Can I choose a tee/toy or return my box if I already have the tee/toy?
A. Apologies, we cannot accept such returns, or customize your box, due to the nature of subscription businesses. However, in case we can customize some pieces, we will inform you in advance.
Q. How do I cancel my subscription?
A. You may choose to cancel subscriptions or skip some months by logging in to your account. Cancellations must be done BEFORE your next re-billing and your subscription will end for the next month. You will, however, be billed for any subscriptions before the cutoff. If you have any other questions regarding cancellations, please email us and write CANCEL on your email subject.
Q. Do you accept collaborations?
A. Sure! Send us more information about your business/products and use SUBMIT as your email subject. You must also be willing to send us an actual sample of the item, for quality inspection and promotion prior to the month you may be featured.
